What is Uppermoda doing differently due to COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 virus which is affecting the whole world, we thought we would provide you an update on what we are doing to make sure our products are delivered to you safely with minimal risk.

We make just about all of our products in Croatia. The very few products not from Croatia are made in Australia. All products available for sale on our website were produced and were in stock before the COVID-19 outbreak.

We are the only people that handle our inventory. We check our temperature regularly and if either of us begin to feel unwell, only 1 of us will pack your order. 

We store our inventory in airtight containers and out of reach of any other people. We believe this will reduce the risk of any of our products getting contaminated. 

We send our packaging via mailer bags which are stored in their original packaging and ordered before the virus outbreak. We recommend picking up your delivery with gloves and placing the bag in the trash before touching your products. At the very least, wash your hands after putting the mailer bag in the bin.

We rarely get returns but if we do, during this period we will store the item separately for 14 days to ensure there is no risk to us or a future purchaser. If we believe the item is too dangerous to return to stock, we will not replenish it and instead dispose of the product. 

We are working with our delivery partners and keep requesting updates on delivery status. We understand deliveries can take longer due to restrictions on air travel and we will do our best to keep you updated if you have an outstanding order. 

For custom homewares, custom clothing & anything which is a Pre-Order, please allow a couple of months to receive your order. We are unsure of the exact timeframe, however will be in touch once you place your order with the most recent delivery timelines information. There is a delay due to COVID-19 and the earthquakes in Croatia which has caused our seamstresses to not be able to work and for Croatian Post to halt international delivery at this time.
