When we received a message from Ivana that she wanted us to create something special for her big day, we must admit we were a bit nervous but absolutely stoked and up for the challenge! She wanted us to incorporate the Croatian patterns into her wedding day and asked for something that could cover the shoulders of her bridal party during the Church ceremony.
The goal was to add some colour and a bit of a traditional element of Croatia to their beautiful white bridesmaid dresses. With so many ideas running through my mind, we landed on a free-flowing traditional red hearts shawl with a satin lining and hook closure in the front. Ivana also came up with a great idea to create a Croatian white hearts shawl for the maid of honour, Adria.
We custom made each of the 9 wedding shawls specific to the dimensions of each woman so that it was tailored to their bridesmaid dress and fit appropriately. We then wrapped each shawl & placed them in our Hvala Bags and created personalised name cards for each of them to make it extra special.
I am so in love with these photos and am so thankful for the opportunity to work with Ivana on this special project!
We wish you and Tony a very happy life together!
